Now came the tricky part. They were reaching the end of the forest, and heading into the park. He hoped that the girls would have the common sense to keep hidden, though of course he didn't at all doubt it.
But can they keep hidden enough in an open area? Hopefully so...
He'd try to keep them in the shadows, for sure. But he was unfortunately in the air, trying to find a good place for them to stay....far away from the facility.

Araceli looked back every so often, paranoid as all get out. As they broke free of the forest that paranoia increased tenfold. It would be all too easy for someone to spot them, lab-related or not. There were still a few civilians out here and there, several of them homeless.
In an effort to stay hidden, Araceli ran from cover to cover. Benina helped by making hollows in the hedges they ran through. Luckily, no one was looking their way.

Abel was more in broad daylight, but he was clothed in dark attire, with his wings keeping him well-hidden in the dark knight. Once every few seconds, a flash of silver might be seen, but it wasn't likely.
He moved swiftly, only hoping the girls were following alright. To help them he was going for areas which were not occupied, and had a fair amount of cover to them.

Benina and Araceli kept up an erratic path, following Abel. A straight line was too easy to track, after all. Once or twice they nearly lost their friend, but they always managed to catch up. Several minutes into their run, Benina discovered a new power. After touching a plant as they passed, she was able to cover up their tracks. The plants were quite willing to rearrange themselves for an elven friend. Of course, they couldn't do much more than cover up visible signs.
