This thread will overview how this site works.
Unlike some boards, this site does not function in the way that the Proboards site is a collective world, and all the boards/threads are interconnected. This means that all the threads are their own seperate roleplays (or profile boards) with the exception of the OoC boards, or the Art boards.
This means that each thread--a separate roleplay in and of itself--has its own individual rules. Think of the site rules as federal law, and the rp rules as state law, if you will.
This also means that you must create new characters for each rp. It is permitted that you use the same character, but it is also encouraged that if you do, use some originality in making their personality and past, or you can make a different character even.
To create an rp, you may either suggest it in Suggestions, or PM an admin to create it for you. Usually, if you ask me (Sesshoumaru-sama), I will give you an okay and you can organize your board, and if I happen to have the time, I'll help you by creating a profile board or something of the sort. =)
To join into an rp, it's suggested that you read the rp on your own time, and usually if it's too long for you to read, it might be too late to join. All the same, you may PM a member of the rp and ask them for a synopsis, as well as if you can join, because it's not always right to assume the rp is closed at 100 pages. Arbitrarily creating a character and trying to post in an rp on the fly isn't smart, so I discourage that.
